The New York Society for General Semantics is a non-profit educational corporation, founded September 9, 1946, by Edwin Green, W. Benton Harrison, Jr., Samuel Rosen, Kurt Safranski, and Eleanor Wolff for the following purposes:
a) to support the science of General Semantics;
b) to provide an opportunity for the exchange of information and experiences among those who are interested actively in the Non-Aristotelian methodology as represented by General Semantics.
